The Malcolms’ world turned upside down when Rosie was rushed to hospital with appendicitis, resulting in baby Henry born at just 27 weeks.
Henry needed urgent, specialised medical care to survive. But the best care available was more than 1,500 kilometres away in Adelaide. Driving would have taken over 16 hours – time they simply didn’t have.
When the Malcolms heard the Flying Doctor was on their way to transfer Henry, they breathed a sigh of relief.
Thanks to generous supporters like you, the Malcolms were flown to Adelaide for the critical care Henry needed. And now, he’s a healthy, thriving 18-month-old.
